Participants can make their own way to the Wo Fo Shan Zhuang (Villa of
of Recumbent Buddha) by taxi. The distance between the Beijing International
Airport and the venue is about 54 km and the cost of taxi is about US$ 20-25 or
RMB 160-200. Wu Huan (the 5th city ring road, marked by the upper red line on
the map) highway is a preferable choice of route. It is also possible to take
an Airport Express bus to Zhong Guan Cun street, costing only 2 dollars and then
take a taxi there to the workshop venue, costing another 4 dollars.
Thanks to Dr. Morisset, two links, PKU and Wofosi,
in Google Earth are provided here. Clicking them will launch the Google Earth client and
a map will appear. For more tourist information about Beijing, we recommend the website: maps-of-china.
In case that you could not use Google Earth, we provide another map below, similar to Google Earth
but more likely to be supported by your computer. Use your pointer to navigate. The Beijing Botanic
Garden locates within the top left box, where PKU is nearly at the center of the map.
